New Curves Travel/Transfer Information

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Curves International has implemented a new travel and transfer policy effective immediately.I will outline some of the changes below and I will post them in the club.

What members are eligible for travel and transfer privileges?

The only members eligible for travel and transfer privileges are check draft and 12 month prepay members in good standing. “Good Standing” means that the member is current with all payments and is in an “active” workout status (i.e. is not on medical hold or hold for any reason). Travel passes can NOT be issued to month-month members, student members or any other member type.

20 DAY RULE: If a member uses a club for a period of 20 days or less within a 30-day period, it doesn’t qualify as primary use. If a member uses a club for a period of 21 days within any given 30-day period, that club has clearly served as the primary club for that member, and they will have to transfer.

Travel Card: There is a revised travel card to include the logo. The expiration date on the card is for the date the member’s membership expires. No expiration date is included for the card because the card is only good for 20 calendar days starting the date of the member’s first workout at the receiving club. Your travel card should be initialed and dated for each workout. If you use the club for more than 20 days withing any 30 day period you should be asked to fill out a transfer form.

If you have any questions regarding these new policies please ask.

Thank you, Joan
